Third podium of the season
Third round of the GT Winter Series was held on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, Spain.
As in the first two rounds of the championship, Alessio drove alone in the two sprint races while the final 55 minute “endurance” race was driven by the pair together. In this final race in the programme, the pair took the lead in their class and looked set to take their first win of the season. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be, a technical issue caused by a contact forced the team to make reparations to the car during the pit stop in order to be able to finish the race.
The pair therefore was lucky to still manage to finish the race and more over lose only one position in the process. Miloš has set the fastest lap of the race.
Next round of the Winter Series will be held in Aragon on the 01 & 02 of March.
“Alessio is making progress and this is really nice to see. His speed is starting to be good, he now needs to improve his starts and close action driving. I am sure he’ll manage with a bit of practice. Happy with how our preparations for the Super Trofeo championship are going”.
