Milos on the podium in Imola
Miloš Pavlović added another one to his rich treasury of trophies – the Serbian racer climbed onto the podium at the endurance race within the Italian GT Championship, which was held the previous weekend at the legendary track in Imola!
At the beginning of the season, Pavlović already drove on the “Enzo and Dino Ferrari” track. Then, after a real break in the clouds, he reached the third place in the class within the Lambrogini Super Trofeo championship, and this weekend the weather conditions were even worse, but our ace managed to repeat the result! ITogether with his teammates, the German Spengler and the Thai Pek, our ace crossed the finish line in the “Hurricane GT3 evo2” as third in the class, while the were classified 10th overall.
Pavlović, within the class, achieved the fastest lap in the three-hour race, which was interrupted approximately halfway and after 38 laps, due to very difficult driving conditions due to heavy rainfall.
“To be honest, we’re not too happy because we led until the last ten minutes. The race was stopped due to heavy rainfall and even I, the one who is usually against that, agreed that it simply wasn’t possible for the race to continue. We were Aquaplaning also at low speeds of 80-90 km/h and simply those were the conditions for a boat or a kayak, not a racing car! still, It was an exciting weekend where we all had to put in all our skills to use. I am happy that we climbed onto the podium for the first time this year in the GT3 Endurance category. Now it should to be a little easier to try and do even better at the next events”.
