Challenging weekend in Barcelona
Fifth round of the European Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship was held on the circuit of Catalunya, Barcelona.
It was a particularly difficult and challenging weekend as instead of the usual two races there was an additional one to be done. This because the race from Le Mans was going to be recovered.
The weekend was filled with mixed emotions for Miloš and Alessio. The pair achieved a P4 in Pro-AM class in race one where Milos drove a tremendous race. He took the car in P43 overall and recovered in less than 30 minutes of driving to P15, which in fact was P4 in Pro-AM.
Later, in race 3, they were looking strong. Miloš was running in P2 in Pro-AM, closing the gap fast to the leading car in class. It all looked great for the car #33. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be and a technical issue prevented them from achieving a good result forcing them to retire.
“Not exactly our weekend but we gave it our all. The car was strong, we were fast, but we missed that crucial element called luck. I hope we are going to have better luck next time”.
