Miloš wins in Monza!
Serbian racing driver Miloš Pavlović triumphantly ended this year’s appearance in the Italian GT Endurance Championship, winning in his class at the last race of the season!
Last weekend, the Serbian racing driver did great on what can be considered “his” home track, the grand-prix “temple of speed” near Milan. The trio Pavlović – Spengler – Pek justified their role as favourites in the Am category.
The cold, rainy and changeable weather in Monza was a great challenge for all competitors during the race weekend, and the drivers of the ASR team did a great job in the three-hour race, which was full of excitement and numerous accidents, which is why the “safety car” was often on the track. Pavlović and his teammates patiently built up their position during the race after a conservative start (Spengler). Pavlović had the task of trying to win from the second position in the class in his last outing on the track, 35 minutes before the end. In just three laps, the Serbian ace made up ten seconds of his lead over his main rival for victory, whom he overtook with a beautiful and aggressive braking manoeuvre in the first chicane.
After getting the lead, Pavlović further increased his lead to over ten seconds and calmly brought the race to an end.
“What a race! We finally managed to show our full potential and get a result that we deserved so much throughout the season. I am really happy to finish the year on a high, it’s great for the morale of all the team and now we can start planning 2025”.
